The greatest miser of all time, Scrooge, transforms into Madam Scrooge! The well-known Dickens story A Christmas Carol, adapted by Opera Spanga, is coming to Leeuwarden due to its success. Gripping musical theater about how unrestrained gluttony deepens the gap between rich and poor. "Wijnstra's music underlines the atmosphere of the scenes superbly, sometimes has something cinematic and surprises with appropriate folkloric elements. His three-man orchestra performs miracles," praised the Leeuwarder Courant.
Koen will be seen and heard in several roles including Tiny Tim and is the tenor in the male quartet.
